Hi
Checking in: no time keepers currently for Sunday. If you are hoping to race on Sunday, keep your eye on the forum please because in the event of no time keeper by Saturday evening, the event will be cancelled and a note posted here on the forum.

A cool day with a strong easterly met the 4 riders taking part this morning.

1 new Clarion member and 3 private trials with some very quick times today.

Well done to Danny for his time. This was his first go at the TT after joining Clarion very recently on a standard road bike and using a medium gear.

The results are:

Medium Gear & Athletes

Danny Heywood - 28:20

Private Trials

Steve Savage - Leicestershire RC - 21:23
James Ison - Melton Olympic - 22:11
Gary Ison - Melton Olympic - 25:01

A magnificent 7 turned out today on a chilly and dull morning for the final medium gear of the year. Personalised wheels and debates with locals were the main theme of today. Congratulations to John for turning up and winning overall.

The times are:

Medium Gear

John Odell 26.17
Danny Heywood 28.38 (A)

Unrestricted

Mike Cooke 23.04
Rob Saunders 24.34

Private Trials

James Ison Melton Olympic 22.36
Gary Ison Melton Olympic 25.42
Thomas Ison Melton Olympic 26.26

Thanks to everyone who volunteered and made the medium gear series happen this year.

Unfortunately, more people didn't ride. We moved the medium gear to Sunday this year after lots of feedback from people in previous years saying they'd ride if it didn't clash with the club run etc.

That's obviously not been the case, which makes me think it's not worth running in the future. It's a lot of effort for just a few of us (and a handful of Melton Olympic guys) to have a ride.
